The Blackwater Heritage TrailBlazer takes place on February 21, 2026 at the Blackwater Heritage Trail Visitor Center in Milton, Florida (5533 Alabama Street, Milton, FL 32570). The event is held on a paved, tree-lined trail and includes both timed and untimed events. The fun run honors the trail's 27th year. The event allows strollers and leashed dogs and is open to all ages.

Online registration closes on February 20, 2026. Shirt sizing is guaranteed for registrations completed by February 6, 2025; later shirts are subject to inventory. There is no Friday packet pickup; packet pickup is scheduled at the Visitor Center on race day. The 13 km event includes overall and age-group awards, para-athlete awards, and walker awards, with an awards ceremony at a local brewery. Race-day features listed include an after-party at a local brewery, a vendor expo, and participant swag for those who met the shirt deadline.
