Blackpool Night Run
Blackpool Night Run takes place on 2 September 2026 at Tower Festival Headland, Blackpool. The event is a night-time road run of 7.5 km held beneath the Blackpool Illuminations and includes a preview of the illuminations before the official switch-on.
Entry to the event is free. Participants are asked to raise a minimum of £30 in sponsorship or make a one-off donation to support Brian House Children’s Hospice. If every runner meets the minimum, the event could raise £120,000 for Brian House.
Event features listed by the organiser include a road closure starting outside Blackpool Tower, chip timed results, and a bespoke finisher medal. The event is sponsored by The Kentown Wizard Foundation.
Brian House is described as the only children’s hospice on the Fylde coast, providing care for babies, children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. Funds raised through this event contribute to the hospice’s ongoing services and development.
