Event information
The Blackpool Aquathlon takes place on 22 March 2026 at Palatine Leisure Centre, St Annes Road, Blackpool, FY4 2AP. The swim uses a 25 m competition pool with eight lanes and is followed by a run around the centre’s cycle track, keeping the running route away from traffic. The event is part of the Northwest Junior Series and is organised by MCA Fitness & Events. Races are chip timed. On-site parking is available. The event includes McA series medals, water stations and sweets. Finish line photos will be taken.
Race categories and fees

- TriStart, Age 8: 50 m swim / 600 m run : £20
- TriStar 1, Ages 9 & 10: 150 m swim / 1.5 km run : £25
- TriStar 2, Ages 11 & 12: 250 m swim / 2 km run : £25
- TriStar 3, Ages 13 & 14: 400 m swim / 2.5 km run : £25
- Youth, Ages 15 & 16: 400 m swim / 2.5 km run : £25
- Super Sprint: 500 m swim / 2.5 km run : £30
