Blackout 5k / 10k Mountain Race
The Blackout Mountain Race takes place on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at Cranmore Resort in North Conway, New Hampshire. This is the ninth edition of the event and features night running on mountain terrain.

Check-in and bib pickup are located at the Arlberg Children's Center; bibs include event swag. A Cranmore waiver should be completed before arrival to help speed registration. Online registration is handled through Ultrasignup and volunteer signups are encouraged.
The course is a mix of access roads and ski trails and will be marked with reflective flagging and LED lanterns; a tentative course map is subject to change based on conditions. Headlamps are required. Participants are advised to bring fresh batteries, a charged headlamp, and a backup; headlamps will be available for purchase at registration.
