Blacklight Run - Portland International Raceway, August 22, 2026
Blacklight Run in Portland is an evening, glow-focused running event held at Portland International Raceway. The course is described as an event of up to three miles. The organizer presents the event as open to participants of varying experience and does not emphasize race time.
Participants are asked to wear a white shirt. Throughout the course and at the after party, attendees will be covered in UV glow powder and liquid glow in designated Blacklight Zones. A pre-race party begins 45 minutes before the start, with DJs to be announced, and a post-race after party will include additional glow effects under assembled blacklights.
Logistics and rules noted for participants include packet pickup information delivered by email, a requirement to show photo ID for packet pickup, and a $5 same-day packet pickup or check-in fee payable in cash. Pre-ordered merchandise must be collected by the start time or at packet pickup; unclaimed items may be forfeited. There is no bag check. Parking may incur a cash fee up to $20. Race bibs must be worn on the front of the shirt to access the course. Wave starts are released every 2 to 5 minutes. Water stations will be available on the course and at the finish.
