Blacklight Run - Portland
The Blacklight Run is a nighttime event held at the Portland International Raceway in Oregon. This event combines a 5 km course with a vibrant, glow-focused atmosphere. Participants have the option to dance, walk, run, or jog through the course, making it accessible to various types of movement.
The event features specialized lighting effects, including state-of-the-art light shows and Blacklight Cannons. These cannons shower participants with a non-toxic UV Neon Glow powder as they navigate the route under a canopy of fluorescent lights. Live DJs provide dance music throughout the experience to accompany the visual displays.
After completing the course, participants can attend an official after-party. This gathering includes live music and the Celebration Glow Flow ceremony. Registered participants also receive event-related items, often referred to as swag. The event focuses on creating a high-energy environment using ultraviolet light and neon colors during the evening hours.
