The Black Excellence 5K takes place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, in Lynn, MA. The in-person start and finish are at Grace Methodist Church, 374 Broadway, Lynn, MA 01904. The event offers two options:
- 5K (3.1 miles) Run/Walk : price $25, registration opens January 1, 2026 at 9:00am EST
- Virtual 5K (3.1 miles) Run/Walk : price $35, registration opens March 1, 2026 at 9:00am EST
The course runs through the city and begins and ends at Grace Methodist Church.
Additional information
Awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers over 18, and to the top three finishers under 18. The event is associated with the North Shore Juneteenth Association. A referral program awards a $20 credit after five successful referrals; participants receive a unique referral link in their confirmation email and earn one referral each time someone signs up through that link.
