Both courses are USATF sanctioned and certified. The half marathon route has less than 400 feet of elevation gain and is described as mostly flat and well marked along a greenway. The course is spectator friendly and uses chip timing for official results.
Options and race inclusions are listed for in-person and virtual participants. Entry benefits noted include race shirts (long sleeve for the half marathon and short sleeve for the 8k) if registered by the stated deadline, commemorative finisher medals for all participants, a Hunter Subaru goody bag, complimentary race photos, complimentary beer for those 21 and older at Oklawaha Brewing, and one of a kind prizes for overall and age group winners. After the registration deadline shirts may be available for purchase.
Packet pickup is available at local pickup locations including Oklawaha Brewing and Jackson Park. A Black Bear Fall Market will take place on race day at Jackson Park featuring local artisans, live music, food vendors, and apple cider donuts provided by Bright Branch Farms.
