BK5K Greensboro
The BK5K Greensboro is a running event taking place in Greensboro, North Carolina. The race is staged at 4100 Beechwood Avenue, utilizing the area around the Fastenal location. The event features two primary participation options for athletes and families:
- 5K Run/Walk
- Kid's Fun Run
Participants in the 5K compete for various awards based on their finishing positions. The top three male and female finishers overall receive cash prizes of $200, $100, and $50 respectively. In addition to the monetary awards, these top finishers are presented with a custom trophy, specialized glasses, and race socks.
Age group recognition is also a component of the event. Runners participating in the 5K are eligible for age group awards, which consist of a custom medal and race socks. There is a registration fee for the 5K distance, while the Kid's Fun Run is offered with no registration fee.
