BK5K Edwardsville, KS
The 6th annual Edwardsville, KS BK5K takes place on September 19, 2026, at the Fastenal Distribution Center, 9911 Woodend Road, Edwardsville, KS 66111. The event supports area youth, with all proceeds directed to 501.c.3 youth organizations and programs that demonstrate financial need. Funding grants are evaluated and dispersed by the local BK5K Youth Fund Award Committee.

- 5K run/walk
- Kids Fun Run for ages 12 and under
Registration periods and fees are published for online and race day entry. Early registration ends September 8, and online registration closes September 18. Fee examples include adult 5K rates of $17 during early registration, $20 after the early period, and $25 on race day; youth 5K rates of $7 early, $10 after, and $15 on race day. The Kids Fun Run is free during online registration and has a $5 race day fee. T-shirt sizes are not guaranteed after the early registration deadline.
Awards include cash prizes for the top three female and male 5K finishers, with amounts of $200 for first, $100 for second, and $50 for third, and an option for winners to donate prizes back to youth grants. Trophies are awarded to the top three overall finishers and medals to the top three in each age group, with separate categories for men and women. A post-race grab and go breakfast is provided.
