Event Overview
The Bishops Stortford Running Festival takes place in Bishop's Stortford on Sunday, 24th May 2026. The event features three chip-timed road races.
Distances
The festival offers three UKA-accredited distances:
- 5K - described as a fast, flat course
- 10K
- Half Marathon
All participants receive a finisher medal and official race photos.
Location and Course
The event is based at Town Park Sworders Field in Bishop's Stortford. The routes use Castle Park and Grange Paddocks. The 5K is one loop, the 10K is two loops, and the Half Marathon consists of four loops plus an extension. A water station is provided on the course.
Event Village
A festival village is set up at the event location. It features a variety of food and drink vendors, live music, a secure bag drop, and toilet facilities.
Getting There
Public transport and cycling are recommended. Several car parks are nearby, including Northgate End, Link Road, Jackson Square, and Grange Paddocks Car Park (fees apply).
Logistics
