Bishopbriggs Triathlon

The Bishopbriggs Triathlon takes place on 25 April 2027 at the Bishopbriggs Leisuredrome in Glasgow. The event is organised by Glasgow Triathlon Club and the entry field is expected to be around 400 competitors.

Races comprise a pool swim, a closed-roads bike course with undulating road sections, and runs that use canal-path and undulating gravel surfaces. Transition areas use a mixture of surfaces. Ages for youth and junior categories are determined at 31 December 2027.

Distances by race category include:

Sprint Triathlon - 750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run
Novice Triathlon - 400m swim, 10km bike, 3km run
Youth Triathlon (15/16 yr) - 400m swim, 10km bike, 3km run
Tristar 3 (13/14 yr) - 300m swim, 5km bike, 2km run
Tristar 2 (11/12 yr) - 200m swim, 3.6km bike, 2km run
