Biscuits and Bubbles 5km and Fun Run - Supporting Haven Retreats
Biscuits and Bubbles is scheduled for Saturday April 18, 2026 in Jacksonville, Florida at Posting House, 2018 Hendricks Ave, 32207. This is the third edition of the event and it includes two distances:
- 5 km race
- 1 mile fun run
The event benefits Haven Retreats, a registered 501(c)3. Haven Retreats works to create sustainability for foster and adoptive families by hosting therapeutic retreats and providing wrap around services for foster and adoptive caregivers throughout the year.
Race services include chip timing with a bib chip system; chips do not need to be returned at the finish. All participants in both the 5 km and the 1 mile fun run receive a medal. The 5 km will recognize overall top three male and female finishers, top masters and grand masters, and age group winners across standard age brackets from 0-5 through 80 and over. The 1 mile awards overall medals to participants and special awards for the top three male and female youth under 12.
Event amenities include custom event shirts for those registered at least two weeks prior as well as goodie bags for participants. Packet pickup is available before race day at Haven Retreats Offices and at Posting House, and also on race day. A post race celebration will feature sponsor booths, a mimosa bar, beer, Chick fil A breakfast biscuits, a bubble machine and a DJ. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
