B.I.R.R. Turkey Trot 5K 2026
The Big Island Road Runners' Annual Charity Turkey Trot takes place on November 26, 2026 in Hilo, Hawaii. The event uses Bay Front Park and the Liliokalani Park/Coconut Island area; the route remains the same with a new start and finish area at Bay Front Park.
This is a free community fun run with a distance of 5K. Organizers request donations in the spirit of Thanksgiving. Monetary donations will be given to Hilo Food Bank, and all food donations will be given to Malia Puka O Kalani food pantry. KTA provided ten $20 gift certificates to be awarded to the first ten people who donate $50 or more via the registration donation section.
All food donations are collected on the day of the event; donated items should be sealed canned or boxed goods. Bib numbers are available for pickup before the run.
