Birmingham Running Festival - 5 September 2027
The Birmingham Running Festival takes place on Sunday 5 September 2027 at Sutton Park, Park Road, Sutton Coldfield, B73 6BT. The event uses road surfaces through Sutton Park, a 2,400 acre National Nature Reserve located about six miles from Birmingham City Centre.
Distances on offer:
- Half Marathon : minimum age 17 years
- 10K : minimum age 15 years
- 5K : minimum age 11 years
- Junior Race : under 11s
Entries include a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results, post-race goodies and a bag drop. The half marathon route shows 306 m of elevation gain and route files and maps are provided by the organiser.
The event village hosts partner stalls including YouFibre and offers food and drink and finish-line goodies. Water stations are positioned around the course with a bottle of water at the finish. There is a secure baggage marquee and portable toilets in the event village. Cycle parking is available.
Organisers note very limited on-site parking and highlight several car parks within a short walk of the village; public transport access from Sutton Coldfield bus and rail stations is a short walk to the main entrance. Spectators are welcome in the event village. Buggy runners and wheelchair athletes are welcome; dogs are not allowed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
