Birmingham Running Festival May 9, 2027
The Birmingham Running Festival is a road running event held on 9 May 2027 at Sutton Park, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham. The programme includes multiple race distances and a separate junior race, all staged within the parkland of the National Nature Reserve.

The event takes place in support of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, which provides helicopter-led emergency medical services and advanced pre-hospital critical care to thousands of people each year. The half marathon route records an elevation gain of 306 m and GPX files are available for the course.
Race services include chip-timed results, a unique themed medal, free finish-line photos, post-race goodies and a secure bag drop. Timed results feed into national rankings and leaderboards. The routes are run on road surfaces.
Sutton Park has multiple entrances and a range of nearby car parks; on-site parking at the park is very limited and many car parks lie within a 15-minute walk of the event village. The main park entrance at Town Gate is a short walk from Sutton Coldfield bus and rail stations. Cycle parking is available in the park.
Accessibility notes: the event welcomes wheelchair athletes and runners with buggies, and asks users to remain mindful of others when overtaking. Dogs are not permitted for runners or spectators.
