Birmingham Running Festival
The Birmingham Running Festival takes place on Sunday 6th September 2026 in Sutton Park, Sutton Coldfield, near Birmingham city centre. The event uses routes through one of the largest urban parks in Europe and follows historic park roads.
Race distances include:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
- Junior Race
Entry includes a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip timed results, and post race goodies. Each kilometre on the course is marked with distance flags and organisers will provide marshals to guide and support participants along the route.
An event village will be on site with food and drink options and free items from partner organisations after the race. The event supports Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, which delivers pre-hospital care and lifesaving interventions through helicopter led emergency medical services.
