Birchwood Lakes Triathlon - Medford, NJ

The Birchwood Lakes Triathlon takes place on June 27, 2026, with starts and finishes at 47 S. Lakeside Dr W., Medford, NJ. Registration is digital only; paper applications and cash are not accepted. Athletes must show photo ID at packet pickup, and annual USAT members must present their membership ID.

Packet pickup is available at the Birchwood Lakes Clubhouse (47 S. Lakeside Dr. West) and at the event start. Event parking is at St. Mary of the Lakes Church, 40 Jackson Rd., about a 20-minute walk to the start; participants are asked not to park in neighborhood streets.

Course details: the swim takes place in deep, well-maintained freshwater; the bike and run follow flat, shaded roads. The course is marshaled by volunteers but remains open to traffic, so athletes are responsible for their own safety. Races are chip timed. Distances:

Swim: 1/4 mile
Bike: 13.2 miles
Run: 3.1 miles

Awards recognize the top three men and women overall and top three in multiple age groups; first place is awarded for relay teams. All participants receive a cotton t-shirt; there are no finisher medals. Post-race refreshments include a BBQ with free beverages, hamburgers, and hot dogs.
