Event Overview

The Bimbler's Bash is an annual trail run that has been held since 2007. It is a single-distance event with a 10K distance. The event starts and finishes at A. W. Cox Elementary School on 3 Mile Course in Guilford, Connecticut. Registration is conducted exclusively online and remains open until shortly before the race begins. All proceeds from the event benefit the Guilford Land Conservation Trust.

Course Details

The course is an entirely off-road loop run on hiking trails within the Westwoods area of Guilford. The terrain is described as technical, featuring rocks, roots, and sections where participants may get their feet wet. The route includes two rock scrambles. The event organizers note that runners are exposed to the risk of injury due to the technical nature of the trail.

Registration and Features

Entry includes a race memento, available on a first-come, first-served basis on race day. Check-in begins at 7:15 AM. Awards are given to overall male and female winners, as well as age group winners in multiple categories. A discount is offered for participants under 16 years old.
