Heroes and Villains Half Marathon - Tulsa
The Heroes and Villains Half Marathon is presented by Bigfoot Running Company and takes place on 23rd Street in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The event offers multiple race options on scenic park and greenbelt trails with mostly paved surfaces and some crushed granite and dirt sections. Aid stations are available along the courses and events proceed rain or shine.
Distances offered include:
- Kids Dash - 50 meter untimed dash for ages 10 and under.
- 1 Mile Run - Untimed fun run for all ages.
- 5K - 3.11 miles, chip timed.
- Quarter Marathon - 6.55 miles, chip timed.
- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles, chip timed.
- Virtual Run - 13.1 miles virtual option.
- Volunteer then Run - 3.11 miles, chip timed after volunteering.
All finishers in every distance receive a medal and a shirt. Standard awards for the 5K, Quarter Marathon, and Half Marathon include first overall male and female Bigfoot trophies, masters recognition for age 40 and over, and top three pins in each age group. A costume contest is held before the races with prizes such as a $25 gift card, a free future race entry, and a Bigfoot Prize Pack.
