Shark Week Showdown - Tulsa, OK
Shark Week Showdown is a running event hosted by Bigfoot Running Company on July 12, 2026, at 428 W 23rd Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma. The event offers in-person and virtual options across multiple distances and includes race tees and finisher medals for several distances.
Distances offered:
- Kids Dash : 50 m; not timed, includes tee and Kids Dash medal
- 1 Mile : includes tee and finisher medal; not chip-timed
- 5K (3.11 miles) : chip-timed, awards and age-group prizes
- 10K (6.22 miles) : chip-timed, awards and age-group prizes
- Volunteer then Run 5K : chip-timed bib, tee, finisher medal; limited to first 10
- Virtual Run : 9.33 miles
The 5K and 10K include age group awards and recognition for overall and masters winners. Age categories cover youth through 70 and older. Packet pickup policies, shirt guarantee, and volunteer programs are provided by the organizer; full race volunteers receive a race shirt and choice of a future race entry or a prepaid digital gift card. Volunteer roles include water station, course monitors, finish-line helpers, sweepers, packet pickup, floaters, lead bike, and mascot duties.
