Event Overview
The NENE LETKV (pronounced Nee-nee Leet-guh), also known as the "Road Runner," is a 5K run and 1-mile fun run/walk. It is organized by the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Scholarship Foundation. The event aims to build community health and wellness while raising proceeds for scholarships, community initiatives, and research.
Location and Course
The event is held at the River Spirit Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with activities along the Arkansas River on the River Parks Trail. The start and finish area is in the south side parking lot of the casino, with access through gates to the river. The 5K course is an out-and-back route entirely on a running trail, featuring a water stop at the turnaround point. The 1-mile fun run/walk is also an out-and-back course marked by a cone and sign.
Registration and Participation
Registration fees are $35 for the 5K and $25 for the 1-mile fun run/walk. All registrations are final with no refunds or transfers. If the event is canceled due to weather, there is no make-up date.
Packet pickup is available the day before the event at the MCN Department of Education and Training Building conference room. On race morning, packets can be collected at the registration area near the start/finish line from 6:00 AM until 7:15 AM.
Participants receive a finisher medal and a special tank singlet. These items are available in limited quantities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
