Shark Week Showdown is an ocean themed running event on 07/11/2026 at Lady Bird Johnson Trail Park in San Antonio, Texas. The event is organized by Bigfoot Running Company and includes in-person and virtual options.

• Kids Dash : 50 meters
• 1 Mile
• 5K : 3.11 miles
• 10K : 6.22 miles
• Volunteer then Run 5K : 3.11 miles
• Virtual Run : 9.33 miles

The event provides finisher medals for the 1 Mile, 5K, and 10K and a special Kids Dash medal. Race tees are included for several entries and a shirt guarantee applies when registration is completed at least ten days before race day. Music is planned at the start and finish areas and aid stations will be available along the course.

Chip timing is used for the 5K and 10K; the Volunteer then Run option includes a custom chip timed bib and a finisher medal for participants who help before running. Awards for the 5K and 10K include overall male and female recognition, a masters recognition for ages 40 and older, and standard age group awards across categories from 10 and under through 70 plus.

Volunteer roles receive a Bigfoot race shirt, VIP race access, and a choice of a free future race entry or a $20 prepaid digital gift card.
