The Big Kahuna 5K, 10K
The Big Kahuna 5K, 10K is a tropical-themed running event hosted by Bigfoot Running Company at Lake Pflugerville Park in Pflugerville, Texas. The event is described as a family-friendly morning race blending running with a luau-style atmosphere.

All participants in the Kids Dash, 1 Mile, 5K, and 10K events receive a race t-shirt, a finisher medal, and a post-race tropical treat. The 5K and 10K races are chip-timed and offer age group awards. The Kids Dash and 1 Mile are not chip-timed. The course terrain is described as a mix of pavement, crushed granite, and some dirt paths.
Event highlights include music at the start and finish line, aid stations on the course, and a tropical-themed photo backdrop. Participants receive a lei at the race. A variety of tropical-themed optional add-on items are available for purchase, such as a branded coconut cup, surfboard sunglasses, and a hula skirt.
The event also offers extensive volunteer opportunities. A "Volunteer then Run" option allows a limited number of participants to help with packet pickup before running the 5K. Full race volunteers receive a race shirt and can choose between a free future race entry or a gift card.
