Event overview
The Summer Meltdown Half Marathon takes place on August 2, 2026, at Wheeler Park in Oklahoma City, OK (1120 S Western Ave, 73108). The event offers multiple in-person distances plus a virtual option. Packet pickup is offered for 1.5 hours before the event. Results and awards are available at the registration tent immediately after finishers complete their race.

- Kids Dash - about a 20 yard dash, for kids 10 and under, not timed
- 1 Mile - not chipped timed
- 5K - 3.11 miles, chip timed
- Quarter Marathon - 6.55 miles, chip timed
- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles, chip timed
- Volunteer then Run 5K - chip timed 5K with volunteer duties, limited to first 5 sign ups

Race details and services
Aid stations providing water and assistance are positioned along the course. Course surfaces may include paved trails, crushed granite and, where unavoidable, dirt paths. Standard age-group awards for the 5K, Quarter Marathon and Half Marathon include 1st overall trophies (male/female), masters recognition pins, and gold/silver/bronze pins across listed age divisions. Race apparel availability is subject to a shirt guarantee cutoff 10 days before the event. Race organizers provide on-site snacks and refreshments at the race rally tent and have a variety of volunteer roles with specified position duties and volunteer rewards.
