About the race
Bigfoot Running Company stages the Texas Red, White and Blue Half Marathon at Heritage Park in Corpus Christi on June 6, 2027. The event offers multiple in-person distances and a virtual 13.1 miles option. All finishers will receive a race shirt and a medal; chip timing is used for selected distances.
Race distances:
- Kids Dash - about 50 m, for ages 10 and under, not timed.
- 2 Mile - 2 miles, not chip timed, includes shirt and medal.
- 4 Mile - 4 miles, chip timed, overall trophies and age group awards.
- 8 Mile - 8 miles, chip timed, overall trophies and age group awards.
- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles, chip timed, overall trophies and age group awards.
- Virtual Run - 13.1 miles, virtual entry option.
The 4 mile Volunteer then Run option provides a chip timed bib, shirt, and finisher medal and is limited to the first 15 participants. Youth pricing applies for 2, 4, and 8 mile events for ages 12 and under. Participants who refer five others may receive a $20 refund. Packet pickup is offered starting 1.5 hours before the event; shirt size guarantees end 10 days before the race.
Course information notes typical Bigfoot venues such as parks and green belts with mixed surfaces including pavement, crushed granite, and some dirt paths. Aid stations are placed along the course, and snacks and bottled water will be available at the finish and race rally tent. A DJ will provide music during the event.
