Bigfoot Classic - Dallas
The Bigfoot Classic takes place on January 16, 2027 at Anderson Bonner Park in Dallas, TX. The event offers multiple running options across park and green belt terrain, with course surfaces that may include pavement, crushed granite, and dirt paths.
Distances offered include:
- Kids Dash : about 50 meters, for children 10 and under, not timed.
- 1 Mile : not chip timed, includes a tee shirt and race medal.
- 5K : 3.11 miles, chip timed with overall trophies and age group awards.
- 10K : 6.22 miles, chip timed with overall trophies and age group awards.
- 15K : 9.33 miles, chip timed with overall trophies and age group awards.
- Quarter Marathon : 6.55 miles.
- Half Marathon : 13.1 miles.
- Virtual Run : 9.33 miles option for remote participation.
All finishers of all distances receive a medal and shirt. Aid stations are placed on course to provide water and assistance. A race rally tent provides snacks and drinks after the finish. Packet pickup is offered for 1.5 hours before the event start, and shirt guarantee cutoff is 10 days before the event.
A crowd-judged Legendary Beast Costume Contest awards a trophy, a Bigfoot prize pack, and a free entry to a future Bigfoot Classic for the chosen winner. Volunteer options include a limited Volunteer then Run spot for the 5K and full race volunteer roles that earn event shirt, VIP access, and a free future race entry or a $20 prepaid gift card.
