Bigfoot Classic - Dallas
The Bigfoot Classic - Dallas takes place on 01/16/2027 at Anderson Bonner Park, 12700 Park Central Dr, Dallas, TX 75251. The event offers multiple running options, a virtual distance, on-course aid stations, and race-day amenities at a rally tent.
Race distances offered:
- Kids Dash - 50 meters, not timed, for ages 10 and under.
- 1 Mile - not chip timed; includes a tee shirt and medal.
- 5K (3.11 Miles) - chip timed; overall trophies and age group awards.
- 10K (6.22 Miles) - chip timed; overall trophies and age group awards.
- 15K (9.33 Miles) - chip timed; overall trophies and age group awards.
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles) - road race distance listed.
- Virtual Run (9.33 Miles) - virtual participation option.
Chip timing is used for several distances and results and awards are available at the registration tent after finishing. Standard age-group recognitions are specified for 5K, 10K, and 15K, including overall trophies, masters recognition pins, and 1st–3rd place pins across multiple age brackets. All finishers receive a medal and shirt; shirt sizes are guaranteed if ordered at least ten days before the event.
The event includes a crowd-judged Legendary Beast Costume Contest with a trophy, a prize pack, and a free entry to a future Bigfoot Classic for the winner. A DJ will provide music and runner announcements. The Bigfoot mascot will offer high-fives and photo opportunities.
