BIGFOOT CHALLENGE 5k/8k Memorial Day Run/Walk
The BIGFOOT CHALLENGE 5k/8k Memorial Day Run/Walk takes place on May 25, 2026 in Dansville, Michigan, at 1264 Adams St. The event includes in-person and virtual options and a kids race for ages 12 and under. All in-person entries receive a T-shirt and a hand-painted Bigfoot finishing medal. A patriotic 2026 T-shirt design is featured for this year.

The kids Little Foot race includes a custom medal and a T-shirt, and Bigfoot will run one lap with younger participants. Chip timing is used for the 5K and 8K; chip time, overall place, and age group place are available live and via text. Age-group trophies are awarded to the top three in each category across both races. Larger Bigfoot trophies are awarded for overall Male and Female and for Master, Grand Master, and Senior Master categories. Packet pick up is at the high school track. The 5K turnaround is on Dakin Rd and the 8K turnaround is on Clark Rd. Proceeds support the Dansville Running Club and local running programs.
