The BIGFOOT CHALLENGE 5k/8k Memorial Day Run/Walk takes place on Monday, May 25, 2026, in Dansville, Michigan (1264 Adams St, Dansville, MI 48819). This is the 48th annual Memorial Day edition. The event program includes multiple race options and a parade that follows the race. All race entries receive a T-shirt and a Bigfoot finishing medal.

- Virtual 5K
- 12-and-under Little Foot kids race (one or two laps on the track)
The kids race includes a custom medal and a T-shirt, and the Bigfoot character will run one lap with younger participants.
Registration, timing and awards
Entry fees are tiered, with early pricing lower and a day-of registration fee of $39. A $100 donation can be exchanged for a free entry (terms apply and a deadline is noted for the free entry option). Packet pick-up is available the night before and on race day at the Dansville High School track. The 5K and 8K are chip timed by the Michigan Running Foundation; chip times and current places are sent to participants by text and posted live on the event site.
Awards include finishing medals for all participants, trophies to the top three in each age group, and larger overall BIGFOOT trophies for male and female winners in overall and master categories.
