BIGFOOT CHALLENGE 5k Flag Day Run/Walk, Tampa
The BIGFOOT CHALLENGE 5k Flag Day Run/Walk is a multi-event community running event held at Gadsden Park in Tampa. The main course follows a paved park trail with an out and back route that passes around a pond. A water stop is located near the turnaround point. A separate one mile out and back route uses the same start and finish area.
All participants receive a Patriotic T-shirt and a custom Bigfoot finishing medal. The event offers live chip timing for the 5k with live results available online and via text or email. Awards include custom Bigfoot trophies for overall and masters winners and top three awards for multiple age groups across standard age brackets. Age group awards are presented live during the event.
A dedicated kids dash for ages 12 and under is an untimed out and back sprint that includes a medal and a T-shirt for participants. There is a virtual 5k option and a Volunteer and Run 5k category.
