Big Woods Half Marathon & 10k
The Big Woods Half Marathon & 10k takes place on Saturday March 14, 2026 in Elverson, Pennsylvania at French Creek State Park. The course starts and finishes on the trail near the pool by Hopewell Lake. The event location is 843 Park Rd., Elverson, PA 19520.

The half marathon follows a series of park trails and is described as difficult. It has over 2,000 feet of elevation gain and includes technical, rocky sections. The route uses Lenape, Buzzards, Raccoon, Mill Creek and Blue with Red Trails and passes Millers Point.
The 10k is a shorter version of the Big Woods course and does not include the "Secret Trail". It is a lollipop style course with aid stations at approximately mile 1.7 and mile 4.5. Registrations for the 10k do not include a finishers item.
Additional notes include a five hour time limit for the event, free parking in the lot above the pool and Hopewell Lake at French Creek State Park, and a shirt cutoff date set to one month before race day.
