Bigtooth Sweet Tooth
The Bigtooth Sweet Tooth is a running event on July 25, 2026 at Woodland Trails Park in Elk River, Minnesota, located next to the Elk River Country Club. Both races take place within the park.
The event includes these distances:
- 5k trail race on grass trails
- 1k kids run on pavement
The 5k course runs on grass trails and includes straight, flat sections as well as steep, winding trail segments. The 1k kids run is entirely on paved surfaces. The description from the organizer notes the course topography is demanding compared with a typical neighborhood run.
Wicking T-shirts are available for registered runners. Shirt sizes are guaranteed if registration is completed by July 5, 2026. Top runners in each age group receive custom awards. Proceeds benefit the Elk River Cross Country Running Program and Scholarship Fund.
Registration opens June 1, 2026. 5k registration closes July 6, 2026. 1k kids run registration closes July 24, 2026. Posted registration fees are $30 for the 5k 13 and up entry, $20 for the 5k 12 and under entry, and $10 for the 1k kids run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
