Big Timber Trot
The Big Timber Trot takes place in Kanawha State Forest, located in Charleston, West Virginia. This annual trail running event offers two different distances through the forest environment, following a route that incorporates winding forest roads and steady climbs. The terrain consists of classic West Virginia forest trails.
Participants can choose between the following distances:
- 6K Trail Run
- 10K Trail Run
Both races begin and end at Shelter #6 within the park. The event organizers have established a time limit for the courses, with a cut-off of 2 hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes) for completion. This race is one of two events held annually in this specific park location by the organizing team.
Registered participants who complete their registration by May 15 are guaranteed an event race shirt. For those registering after this date, shirts are provided on a first-come, first-served basis while the remaining stock lasts. The registration period opens in early March and continues until mid-May. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
