Run for Your Life
Run for Your Life is an annual community race organized by the CAMC Foundation. The event for 2027 is scheduled for June 5 at Haddad Riverfront Park and offers both running and walking options.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5 mile Run
- 2.5 mile Walk
All proceeds support colorectal cancer awareness, early screening programs, and patient assistance initiatives in the region. The event materials note that colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer in both men and women.
The 2026 edition drew a record number of registrants and fundraising receipts: 751 participants registered, surpassing the prior record, and $118,830 was raised to support the event’s charitable programs. The 2026 event also included acknowledgments of survivors and remembrances of loved ones.
