Big Texas Run : Arlington, Texas
The Big Texas Run is a multi-distance running event held at Texas Live! in Arlington, TX. The event offers in-person and virtual options and takes place on October 17, 2026.
Distances and format:
- 5K : 1 loop
- 10K : 2 loops
- 15K (Big Texas Challenge) : 3 loops completed by one runner
- 15K Relay : 3-person team, each runner completes one loop
Race registration includes a short-sleeve tech shirt, custom bib, finisher medal, post-race snacks, vendor village access, and a free beer at the Texas Live! after-party for participants 21 and older. The start/finish area features a DJ and on-course music. Awards are given overall male/female for 5K, 10K, and 15K, overall relay team for the 15K relay, and age-group awards; awards must be claimed in person and will not be mailed.
Packet pickup is available on the two days prior to the race at local running stores and on race day at Texas Live!. A VIP experience is offered with premium parking, additional beer tickets, a VIP bag, and designated check-in. A virtual run option allows participants to upload results between October 17, 2026 and January 16, 2027; virtual race packets ship beginning the week of October 19, 2026.
