Big Texas Run, Arlington, TX
The Big Texas Run is a multi-distance road race held on October 17, 2026, in Arlington, Texas, centered at Texas Live! next to Globe Life Field. The event includes a post-race celebration at Texas Live! with music, vendors, and race-day atmosphere.
The course runs through Arlington with views of AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Field and includes wide streets and multiple photo opportunities. Distances offered reflect looped segments on the mapped course:
- 5K one loop
- 10K two loops
- 15K three loops
- 15K Relay three-person team
All finishers receive a short-sleeve tech shirt, a custom race bib, and a Big Texas Run belt buckle finisher medal. Race-day amenities include a vendor village, DJ and live music at the start and finish, a free beer for runners at the after-party, and a game day costume contest. Awards are given to top overall and masters finishers plus age-group placings; awards must be claimed in person.
Packet pickup is available at three local locations including Texas Live!, Mountain Sports in Pantego, and Fort Worth Running Company. A limited VIP upgrade is offered for a fee and includes premium parking, additional beer tickets, VIP bags, and concierge check-in, with only 100 VIP spots available.
