Event Overview
The Big River Race takes place at Chiawana Park in Pasco, Washington. Participants follow a flat course on a paved riverfront path along the Columbia River. The event includes several distances and follows out and back routes. Half marathon participants have the option of a standard start or an early start for those expecting to take longer than three hours.

Course Details
The half marathon route travels east on a paved trail and features six aid stations spaced approximately two miles apart. These stations provide water, electrolyte drinks, gels, and fruit snacks. The 6.2 Miles and 3.1 Miles courses also travel east and include themed aid stations with music and cheer squads. The 1 Mile fun run travels west to the end of the park and is an untimed event.
Participant Information
Strollers are permitted for all distances, with participants using them starting at the back right side of the group. Finisher medals are provided for all race distances, and half marathon registration includes a shirt. The event area at Chiawana Park offers shade trees and river views.
