Event Overview
The Big House 5K is an annual running and walking event held in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The race marks its 13th year by taking participants through the University of Michigan campus. The course concludes with a finish on the 50-yard line of Michigan Stadium.
The event serves as a platform to support the local community. All race proceeds are distributed among six local non-profit organizations selected by the athletic department. Each registration fee includes a minimum donation of $12 to these beneficiaries.
Race Details
The event offers a single distance:
- 3.1 Miles: A run or walk through campus reaching Michigan Stadium.
Participants are required to register regardless of age to gain entry to the course and the field. Registration for the full race includes a timed bib, a soft blend t-shirt, and a commemorative finishers medal. Complimentary on-course photos are provided for all runners.
Specific registration is available for participants using strollers for children aged five and younger. While stroller entries include a timed bib and medal, they do not include a race shirt.
Competition and Prizes
