Big House 5K
The 13th annual Big House 5K is a run and walk across the University of Michigan campus in Ann Arbor that finishes on the 50 yard line of Michigan Stadium. The event is scheduled for April 12, 2026 and takes place at 1201 South Main St., Ann Arbor, MI 48109.
The event raises awareness and funds for six local nonprofit organizations. All race proceeds are split among the six beneficiaries, selected in partnership with campus colleagues and Athletic Department service pillars to address immediate community needs.
Two registration options are offered: a regular entry and a stroller entry for ages 5 and younger. Both options cover 3.1 Miles. Regular entries include a minimum $12 donation to the six beneficiaries, a race bib with a chip for on-course timing, a soft blend t-shirt (stroller entries do not receive a race shirt), a commemorative finishers medal, complimentary on-course race photos, and eligibility for overall and age group prizes. Stroller entries include the donation, bib with chip, medal, photos, and prize eligibility but do not receive the race shirt.
Registration opens January 15, 2026 and closes April 9, 2026. Entry fees listed are $38.00 for the regular entry and $20.00 for stroller registration. Age is calculated on race day, April 12, 2026, and all participants must be registered to access the course and field. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
