Big House 5K
The Big House 5K is the 13th annual event held in Ann Arbor on April 12, 2026. The course runs through the University of Michigan campus and finishes on the 50 yard line of Michigan Stadium. The event takes place at 1201 South Main St., Ann Arbor, MI 48109.
There are two event entries offered:
- Big House 5K
- Big House 5K - Stroller Registration (ages 5 & younger)
Organizers allocate a guaranteed portion of each registration fee to six local nonprofit partners. A guaranteed $12 from each participant registration will be split evenly and donated to the six official beneficiaries, and additional race proceeds after expenses are also shared. Beneficiary partners for 2026 include Cass Community Social Services, Fisher House Michigan, Food Gatherers, Our Community Reads, Shelter Association of Washtenaw County, and T Wall Foundation.
The event has previously reached high registration levels; in 2025 the race sold out at 12,500 entries and raised $215,000 for its beneficiaries. Registration details and event status are managed by the event organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
