Big Brothers Big Sisters Ignite 5K
The Big Brothers Big Sisters Ignite 5K is a running event held in Saint Joseph, Missouri at 2500 Southwest Parkway. The course is an out and back that starts and finishes at the parking lot across the street from Bode Ice Arena, with the turn-around at Bartlett Park. The route follows the bike trails of the St. Joseph Parkway system and is relatively flat with a few slight climbs that are downhill on the way to the finish.
Pre-registered participants may pick up race-day packets on the morning of the event or on June 19 at River Bluff Brewery between 5:30 and 7:00 PM. Race day registration is available beginning at 7:00 AM. Registration opens April 1 and closes June 21. The registration fee is $30.00. Registrants who register before June 1 are guaranteed a t-shirt.
All proceeds benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters St. Joseph. The entry fee includes an event t-shirt, chip timing, finish line photo and video, awards, and additional items noted by the organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
