Summer 10k
The Summer 10k takes place within the grounds of Coombe Abbey Park in Coventry. This event offers a route through diverse natural terrain, including mature woodland, scenic meadows, and open grass fields.
The course consists of 2 laps of a mixed-terrain route. Participants can expect uneven surfaces with exposed tree roots and must navigate a few gates along the way. While the landscape is described as undulating, there are no significant hills. Given the mid-summer timing, the ground is typically firm, though conditions are subject to recent weather.
A water station is positioned on the course, and runners will pass it four times during the event. Unlike some other Big Bear Events, water and electrolytes are provided in biodegradable cups, though participants may also bring their own collapsible cups.

The event has a cut-off time of two hours. There is a toilet block located next to the event headquarters on-site. Parking is available at the park for a fee. Due to the likely high temperatures in July, running with dogs is not permitted for this specific race.
Participants can choose to receive a finisher medal or opt for a tree token. These tokens result in a tree being planted and are made of material containing wildflower seeds for home planting. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
