Run and Walk at Bier Distillery
The Bier Distillery event takes place in Comstock Park, Michigan, utilizing the White Pine Trail system. This athletic gathering offers participants a traffic-free route for both running and walking activities. The course for the shorter distance involves heading south for half a mile before turning around to return to the starting point.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5K (3.1 miles) run or walk
- 1 Mile walk
The event supports Food Hugs, a local organization that provides meals to front-line workers and individuals in need within the community. Registration includes a race t-shirt, with a guaranteed size for those who sign up by the specific April deadline. Upon completion of the distance, participants receive a post-race snack and a voucher for a craft cocktail or craft soda, which can be redeemed at the distillery location.
The event features official timing for both the 5K and the 1 Mile distances. Awards are available for overall finishers and across several age groups, ranging from 12 and under to 70 and older.
