Bier Distillery Run and Walk
The Bier Distillery 5K and 1 Mile event takes place in Comstock Park, Michigan. This athletic gathering utilizes the White Pine Trail system, providing participants with a traffic-free route for both running and walking. The event serves as a fundraiser, with all proceeds benefiting Food Hugs, a local organization that provides meals to frontline workers and individuals in need.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5K (3.1 miles) run or walk
- 1 Mile walk
The 1 Mile walk follows a specific path heading south on the White Pine Trail for half a mile before turning around to return to the finish. All participants receive timing services for their respective distances. Registration includes a race t-shirt, with sizes guaranteed for those who enter by the specified April deadline.
Upon completing their distance, attendees receive a post-race snack and a voucher for a craft cocktail or craft soda to be redeemed at Bier Distillery. The event recognizes performance through potential overall and age group awards. Age categories for recognition include participants 12 and under, several youth and adult brackets, up to those 70 and older.
