Bibra Lake Fun Run
The Bibra Lake Fun Run is a community running event held around Bibra Lake. It is traditionally held on the second Sunday in September and the 2026 edition is scheduled for Sunday 13 September 2026. The event takes place at the corner of Gwilliam and Progress Drives in Bibra Lake and is free to enter, though registration is required.
Participants can choose from two course distances:
- 6 km course around Bibra Lake
- 12 km course around Bibra Lake
The event is open to a wide range of attendees, including competitive runners, casual joggers, families, work groups and school teams. The program explicitly welcomes wheelchair rollers, pram pushers and walkers with pets on leads. A variety of family-friendly activities are planned, including live music, zumba and a free sausage sizzle, along with other entertainment.
Prizes are awarded across five age categories and for the overall male and female winners. Schools can compete for prizes of $150 and $100 for the largest teams. Registrations for the 2026 event open on Tuesday 28 July 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
