The 2025 BIAMD Scarecrow Classic is scheduled for November 9, 2025 in Baltimore, Maryland, on the UMBC campus at 1000 Hilltop Circle, Baltimore, MD 21250. The event offers the following options:
- 5K
- 1 Mile
- Virtual 5K
The 5K and 1 Mile Walk/Run take place on paved roads. Registration pricing changes by date, with tiered rates listed for periods before and after October 31, 2025. A team registration option is available for groups of at least five members; a discount mechanism and a $5 refund process are described when team and referral thresholds are met.
Logistics and awards
Race day includes check-in and packet pick-up. Registrations include a long sleeve race t-shirt, a custom finisher medal, and custom podium awards. Finish line video and live results are provided by Racine MultiSports. For the 5K event, shirts and medals will be mailed after the race; a virtual 5K option is offered as well.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three male and female finishers in these age groups: 15 & under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. The event is hosted by the Brain Injury Association of Maryland and supports its programs for Marylanders with brain injury. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
