About the Event
BHM26.2 2026 is a charitable race series taking place on October 4, 2026, in Hoover, Alabama. All proceeds benefit Magic Moments, a wish-granting organization for children in Alabama with chronic life-threatening or acute life-altering conditions.

The main venue is The Finley Center. A race expo with packet pickup and local vendors will be held there on October 3 from 10:00 to 16:00.
Race Details
The marathon course is a 13.1-mile loop run twice through Hoover, featuring a mix of rolling hills, flat terrain, and waterfront sections. It includes frequent water stations, cheer stations, and medical stations.
The returning 5-person marathon relay features leg distances of 5 miles, 5 miles, 3.1 miles, 6.2 miles, and 6.9 miles. Teams with fewer than five runners are allowed if members run consecutive legs. All relay team members receive their medals together upon finishing.
The half marathon course winds through city streets, neighborhoods, and along a waterfront. The 10K and 5K courses also offer a mix of flat stretches, rolling hills, and scenic views. The kid's fun run is approximately a quarter-mile and is stroller-friendly.
A family-friendly after-party with a post-race meal, live music, drinks, and a kids' zone will be held at The Finley Center. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
