Beyond Limits Adventure 5k & Fun Run
The event takes place on October 17, 2026 at 3025 School House Road, Tallahassee, Florida. It includes an Urban Adventure Race and a shorter fun run option around the Independence Landing complex.
- 5K Urban Adventure Race with at least five course challenges.
- Fun Run/Walk/Roll less than one mile around Independence Landing, untimed.
The 5K course requires completion of no fewer than five unique challenges placed along the route. Examples of course elements include plastic axe throwing and an army crawl, along with other activities that test dexterity and coordination. All participants who complete the full course and its challenges receive finisher medals. T-shirts are offered for an additional fee.
The Fun Run/Walk/Roll is a shorter, untimed event held prior to the 5K, described as suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities. The main race accepts individual competitors and two person teams, with separate awards for teams and for individuals by age group. Organizers note that accommodations to improve accessibility can be requested during registration.
Refreshments are provided after the events. A meal from The Press Cafe prepared as part of a resident workforce program will be available following the races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
