Beyond Limits Adventure 5k & Fun Run
The event takes place in Tallahassee at 3025 School House Road on October 17, 2026. It includes two running options:
- 5K Adventure Race
- Fun Run, less than a mile, untimed
The 5K Adventure Race is an urban course where participants complete at least five challenges along the route. Listed examples of challenges include axe throwing with plastic axes and an army crawl. Participants may compete individually or as a two-person team. Separate awards are given for teams and for individuals by age groups. Finisher medals are presented to all participants who complete the course.
The Fun Run is a shorter course around the Independence Landing complex and is described as suitable for all ages and abilities. That event is untimed.
Registration details in the source list opening and closing dates and fees: the 5K registration fee is $25 and the Fun Run fee is $5. T-shirts are available for an additional $10 fee. Refreshments are provided after the race at Independence Landing, and a meal at The Press Cafe will be available, with dishes prepared by residents as part of a workforce development program.
