Beyond Bristol 55km Ultra and 25km Trail Runs
Beyond Bristol is a city-centre trail running event scheduled for 17 April 2027. The event offers two route options and starts and finishes at The Amphitheatre (BS1 5LL).
Distances:
- 55 km Ultra route following riverside and woodland trails.
- 25 km Trail Run on mixed urban and green paths.
The 55 km route runs alongside the River Avon through the city centre, joins the Frome Valley Way urban riverside trail, and passes through Eastville Park. It follows over 10 km of the old Bristol and Bath Railway before joining the River Avon Trail. The riverside section loops under the railway and then the course heads west of the city limits, runs beneath the Clifton Suspension Bridge, climbs through Leigh Wood Nature Reserve, crosses into Clifton, and returns to the city centre to finish at The Amphitheatre.
The event accommodates walkers, joggers, and runners. Public parking is available nearby, and public transport is noted as the easiest way to reach the start.
