Bethlehem Lutheran Fall Fest
The Bethlehem Lutheran Fall Fest is a community event established in 2000 by a group of parents, teachers, and school supporters. Serving as the primary fundraising initiative for Bethlehem Lutheran School, the event celebrates the start of the new school year and the school's connection to the Tri-Cities region. The festivities take place at Howard Amon Park in Richland, Washington, and include several activities alongside the athletic competitions.
Participants can take part in the following running events:
- 5k road race
- 1 mile run
The course for these races is located along the river within the park grounds. Beyond the running events, the festival features community activities such as bounce houses, various games, and local food vendors. Since its inception, the gathering has grown into an annual occurrence that attracts hundreds of adult and youth participants.
Proceeds from the registration fees and festival activities are directed toward school improvements. For the current edition, the fundraising goals include the installation of a book vending machine and a renovation of the school library. The event is open to the public and focuses on providing an outdoor community experience during the autumn season. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
