Bethlehem Lutheran Fall Fest
The Bethlehem Lutheran Fall Fest was started in 2000 by a group of parents, teachers, and school supporters. It is the main fundraising event for Bethlehem Lutheran School and serves as a community gathering that welcomes the new school year while showing the school’s involvement in the Tri-Cities community.
The event includes running races for children and adults and draws hundreds of participants. Fest activities listed by the organizer include bounce houses, games, and local food vendors. Races take place along the river at Howard Amon Park in Richland, WA.
Distances offered at the Fall Fest include:
- 5 km race
- 1 mile race
The stated fundraising goal for the event is to raise $40,000 for school improvements. Planned upgrades mentioned are adding locking storage to lockers and a new playground feature. The festival combines fundraising for specific school projects with community activities and family-oriented attractions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
