Betar Byway 5K / Moreau Mile
The event takes place in South Glens Falls, New York on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Betar Byway and nearby South Glens Falls Park. Two distances are offered:
- 5K
- 1 Mile
The 5K course begins and ends at South Glens Falls Park. The 1 Mile starts at South Glens Falls Beach and finishes at South Glens Falls Park. Restroom facilities are available on site.
Entry fees are listed for pre-registration and race day, with different prices for single-race and both-race entries. T shirts are offered and sizes are guaranteed for runners registered by May 19; there is no guarantee for shirt availability after that date. The 5K is part of a Grand Prix series.
Awards are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall for male and female finishers, and for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in age groups. Age groups include 8 and under, 9-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. Proceeds benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the Betar Byway Fund.
