BEST Kids Superhero 5K & Fun Run

The 14th annual BEST Kids Superhero 5K & Fun Run takes place at Fort Hunt Park in Alexandria, Virginia. It is organized by BEST Kids, a nonprofit supporting youth in foster care and at-risk youth through mentoring.

Events

Participants can choose from several events:

5K: A general event for all ages.
Young Adult 5K: For participants aged 13 to 17.
Youth 5K: A free event for participants aged 12 and under.
Kids Fun Run: A free, non-competitive run of 0.5 miles intended for younger children, where parents or guardians are expected to assist.

The 5K course consists of two counterclockwise loops. The event takes place rain or shine, and participants are encouraged to dress as superheroes.

Additional Information

There are parking lots near the event start at Pavilion A. Participants can form running teams and there will be family-friendly engagement activities on race day.
