Berkhamsted Rotary Half Marathon and Five Mile Fun Run
The Berkhamsted Rotary Club promotes an annual Half Marathon and a Five Mile Fun Run routed through Chiltern countryside. The event starts at Berkhamsted Cricket Club, close to Berkhamsted Station, and shares sections of the countryside route between the two races. The half marathon is regularly used as a timed run for athletes returning to competition or preparing for full marathons.

A Schools Challenge offers a £250 school prize for the top four girls and top four boys within school teams entered in the Five Mile Fun Run. Team entry also enables students to raise sponsorship for charities.
Prizes include running prize money, trophies for individuals and teams, and fundraising awards for top fundraisers. All finishers receive bespoke medals. The event has raised more than £320,000 for charities over the years and supports local organisations including DENS, the Pepper Foundation and the Hospice of St Francis. The event holds an England Athletics Event Licence number 30030.
