Berkorun - Berkhamsted Rotary Half Marathon and Five Mile Fun Run 2027
The event takes place on 7 March 2027 in Berkhamsted and is organised by the Berkhamsted Rotary Club. Two distances are offered:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- Five Mile Fun Run
The Half Marathon is run under a UK Athletics race licence (31806). The route passes through Chilterns countryside, with mile markers, drinks stations and chip timing. The Five Mile Fun Run shares the first part of the Half Marathon route; about two thirds of that course are on country roads and it includes one uphill section. Sweep vehicles and marshals support safety on the route.
Entry is online only, with entries opening on 1 September 2026. The Half Marathon is limited to 1,750 entrants and the Five Mile Run to 750. Race packs include a chipped bib and baggage label and are posted the week before the event; entrants registering on or after 25 February must collect their race number in person at specified locations. Half Marathon finishers receive a complimentary T-shirt and all finishers receive medals and a goody bag.
Age and race rules apply: Half Marathon entrants must be 17 or older and able to complete the course within three hours. The Five Mile Run is recommended for those over 12; under 12s must be accompanied by a responsible person over 18. Official race numbers and electronic chips must be worn. Dogs, bicycles and pushchairs are not permitted. Refunds, deferral and change policies apply and there is compliance with UKA anti-doping and transgender eligibility rules.
