Berkhamsted Rotary Half Marathon and 5 Mile Fun Run
The Berkhamsted Rotary Club stages the Berkhamsted Half Marathon and a Five Mile Fun Run on Sunday 7 March 2027. The races start from Berkhamsted Cricket Club, which is close to Berkhamsted Station, and use routes that pass through Chilterns countryside. The event carries an England Athletics Event Licence number 31806.
The event includes competitive and community elements. Prize money, trophies for individuals and teams, and fundraising prizes are awarded, and all finishers receive a bespoke medal. Over the years the Rotary event has raised more than £320,000 for various charities. Proceeds from entries support local charities including DENS, the Pepper Foundation, and the Hospice of St Francis. Registration for the 2027 event opens on 1 September 2026.
