Ben’s Race for Recovery
Ben’s Race for Recovery is a 5K fundraiser held in Foley, AL on Mar 7, 2026 (Saturday). The event takes place at Graham Creek Pavilion and is described as a rain-or-shine event. The course includes one easy obstacle near the beginning intended to symbolize life challenges faced by people affected by addiction.
Purpose and on-site details
All proceeds benefit The Benjamin Thomas Werner (BTW) Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on raising addiction awareness and increasing access to recovery. Funds are used for recovery and rehabilitation services in the community, assistance for families and children or teenagers affected by addiction, educational programs for local schools and churches, and scholarships for students in Baldwin County affected by addiction. Packet pickup begins at 6:30 am at the pavilion before the race. The event is open to the public whether or not people register. On-site activities include a food truck (The Wacked Out Weiner), a silent auction, and a bounce house for kids starting at 9 am. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
