Ben's Race for Recovery
Ben's Race for Recovery is a 5K running event taking place in Foley, Alabama. The event is held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the Graham Creek Pavillion. Packet pickup starts at 6:30 am at the pavilion on race day. The event happens rain or shine.
The run is a fundraiser to support The Benjamin Thomas Werner (BTW) Foundation. This non-profit organization is dedicated to raising addiction awareness and making recovery more accessible. Funds raised aid in recovery and rehabilitation for people battling addiction in the community. They also provide assistance to families, children, and teenagers impacted by addiction, and fund educational programs for local schools and churches. The foundation awards scholarships to students in Baldwin County whose education has been affected by addiction.
The course includes one easy obstacle at the beginning, intended to represent navigating life's complex challenges. The event is open to the public; attendance is possible even without race registration. A silent auction begins at 9 am. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
