Bend Marathon and Half
The Bend Marathon and Half is a multi-distance running event held in Central Oregon. The event takes place in West Bend and offers several course options that traverse the local landscape. Participants run through neighborhood parks, navigate paths within ponderosa pine forests, and follow routes along the Deschutes River.

The marathon serves as a Boston Qualifier. The event is organized as a cupless race to support sustainability initiatives. The courses conclude in an iconic Bend location featuring a finish area with live music, food, and craft beer from local partners.
The weekend includes additional programming such as a free virtual youth running program for local children and a youth 5k. Training plans are available for participants, and the event organizers coordinate community pub runs in the months leading up to the race. Spectator cheer stations are designated along the route to assist friends and family in supporting the runners.
