Bend Classic Mile
The Bend Classic Mile is a closed-street, one-mile road race held in downtown Bend on Sunday, June 21st. Staging is at FootZone, 842 NW Wall Street, with the start near the corner of Minnesota and Bond and the finish on Wall Street. The course follows much of the Cascade Cycling Classic criterium route and requires approximately 1.5 laps of the bike course.
Registration for the 2026 race is open with tiered pricing: early registration through June 6 includes reduced adult and youth rates, and higher rates apply from June 7 through race day or until the event sells out. Day-of registration is offered on race day until late afternoon. All registered participants receive a commemorative item, an official time, and post-race refreshments.
Participants should be able to complete 1 MILE in 10 minutes or under; walkers, dogs, and strollers cannot be accommodated. Awards will be presented for the top three men and top three women, plus a special youth award, at FootZone following the race. Packet pickup and downtown access may be affected by road closures and limited parking, so the organizer advises allowing extra time to get into the staging area.
The event has a no-refund policy for standard circumstances. In extreme conditions event directors may modify or cancel the race without issuing refunds. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
